Youth Mental Health - Eliminating Barriers to Learning Workshop

Doors will open at 8:30 am and the presentation will begin promptly at 9:00 am. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided.

This workshop will offer information on student social-emotional wellness, including the links between student social-emotional development, mental health, tobacco and other substance use, and learning. It also addresses the impact of the stigma and discrimination that surround mental health issues and explores the role of teachers' and other staff in helping students with mental health needs.

This workshop is intended for those who do not have a clinical background.
